Paint Avant-Garde "artworks" are basic, standalone pieces. They should be interesting, fun, and crude. Create them off-the-cuff, on-the-fly, like a visual stream of consciousness. We're not here to win any awards, so don't spend time over-beautifying your art. Just enjoy scrawling, cutting, pasting, and doodling your way to success!

MS Paint, with its basic tool sets and low-fi results, is probably the best application for creating the rugged artworks PA-G loves. That said, we invite you to use whatever digital art program you prefer. Hell, you could even draw on a notebook and take a picture of it ... if that's your kind of thing.
